This kit is designed to replace the restrictive factory EGR pipe that runs from the cooler to the intake on your truck, effectively stopping the flow of soot-heavy exhaust gases into your engine.

By sealing off the intake tract with our precision-machined plates, you eliminate the carbon buildup that kills performance and fuel economy. Built with a combination of rugged steel and anodized 6061 billet aluminum, this kit is engineered for a perfect fit and long-term durability. It’s the essential upgrade for keeping your "Mini-Max" on the road longer and problem-free.

  • Will get block set off check engine light

    Yes, without any tuning you well get a check engine light.

  • I already have the engine and Trans tune from you, do I need additional tuning for the egr block off plates ?

    If your engine tuning has already deleted the EGR, you won't need any additional tuning.

  • Delete my 2018 2.8 Duramax - To do a complete delete. I would need the EFI live programmer, EGR plates, and the new exhaust right?

    Correct!

  • Do i need a tune to install this egr delete plates? I don't want any codes popping up

    Yes, you will need a tune to prevent codes from appearing after installing the EGR delete block-off plates. Removing the EGR system will trigger DTCs unless the ECM is reprogrammed to account for the modification​​.

    Without the proper tuning to support it, yes.

  • I have a 2016 chevy colorado with the 2.8 litter deisel. I want to delete it and make it a off road. Need tuner and down pipe

    Tuner HERE, we carry a full turbo back exhaust that completely replaces the OEM system, you can find it HERE.

  • Just wanted to verify this will fit a 2016 Chevy colorado z71 2.8 duramax. The picture in the ad looks different then the other kits i have seen.

I ordered the block off plates as part of the complete DEF/DPF delete kit for my 2019 Duramax 2.8L Colorado. These anodized aluminum plates are amazing quality and look sharp. If that doesn't impress, you should see the buildup that this will save when you remove the intake.

Nice and simple. Not a huge fan of the red anodizing but the block off plates do exactly what they should. The EGR is commanded closed but I'm much more happy knowing none of that soot will ever be going through the engine again.

These work perfectly 10min install every thing fits perfectly. I could not believe the build up off crap that was on the egr it was almost blocked and I have a low km truck these will help keep my 2.8 running a lot longer thanks Dirty diesel
