What is the mileage interval to change this filter? My OEM filter change was 30k when I bought the truck, but they say every oil change now.
The optimal mileage interval for changing the CAT 1R-0750 filter is every 15,000 to 20,000 miles (approx. 24,000 to 32,000 km).

Unfortunately, we can not confirm that fitment. We think it's likely not going to fitt, as the diameter on the 0749 is larger.

I have a 2015 ecodiesel and like so many the stock fuel filter is useless. I am looking for a secondary filter and wonder if this secondary filter would create to much pressure drop or restrict flow, has there been any issues?
There has not been any issues with this upgrade, and it doesn't affect performance negatively at all. It's a very good option!

Does this work on 3rd Gen Ecodiesels?
No, this does not work on 2020+, otherwise known as 3rd gen, ecodiesels.

With this product, if one decides to run it with no factory fuel filter, will the water separation still work? Or is that build into the factory fuel filter?
No, if you use the adapter to bypass the factory fuel filter on your Ram EcoDiesel, you will not have a water separation function unless you use a CAT filter that is also a water separator. The water separation functionality on these trucks is integrated into the factory filter housing.
