If you're looking to improve your 3.0L Ram EcoDiesel fuel system and make maintenance easier, the Dirty Diesel cat fuel adapter kit is what you need. This kit utilizes the ubiquitous Cat 1R-0750, available as an add on. The design is intended to piggyback onto your OEM filter system. 

Keeping the OEM filter housing allows you to keep your OEM fuel heater, and water in filter sensor. This ensures you don't see any check engine lights from needlessly deleted components. You can either empty out the OEM fuel filter housing so that you don't have to mess with the difficult to service plastic housing, which requires special tools to reliably service without breaking the cap, or run both filters for increased filtration.

  • I have a 2015 ecodiesel and like so many the stock fuel filter is useless. I am looking for a secondary filter and wonder if this secondary filter would create to much pressure drop or restrict flow, has there been any issues?

    There has not been any issues with this upgrade, and it doesn't affect performance negatively at all. It's a very good option!

  • Does this work on 3rd Gen Ecodiesels?

    No, this does not work on 2020+, otherwise known as 3rd gen, ecodiesels.

  • Dose it come with a filter or do I have to buy 1 separate

    unfortunately it doesn't come with the filter you would need to purchase separately (CAT-1R-0750)
