The CCS TCM Tuning is for those looking to upgrade their existing tuning package from Coopers Custom Solutions by adding Transmission Tuning. The TCM Tuning will dramatically increase the drivability of your 68RFE by modifying and adjusting your shift points, and line pressure, and increasing the holding capacity.

TCM Tuning increases the line pressure, this puts more pressure on your clutch packs and prevents them from slipping which can cause excessive early wear on 68RFE's clutch disks. It will also change the shifting points to match the new tuning which helps improve the overall drivability.

The factory lockup schedule on the 68RFE is set to lock up the torque converter in 4th gear, and Mitch Cooper (Owner of CCS Tuning) will command lockup in 3rd gear and it will stay locked while you are shifting from 3rd to 4th. The shifting patterns would almost be similar to when you drive in Tow Haul Mode.

EZ-Lynk Customers: If you purchased the 4-Week Lynk Package you will need to upgrade to the Lifetime Lynk Package when adding TCM tuning.

  I purchased this along with my EZLynk. Should I install a RevMax valve body before doing the tcm flash? If so, can I just do the ecm flash and then layer on do the tcm flash? Thank you

  Yes, you can flash the ECM first and subsequently flash the TCM at a later time. The ECM tuning is independent of the TCM tuning and can operate on stock TCM parameters if needed temporarily. Install the valve body before TCM tuning for maximum benefit, but you can proceed with ECM flashing separately without issues.   Should a purchase ccs trans tuning for my 21 68rfe if I tow over 10k regularly? Will the earlier lockup and shift points cause any damage? Also are there different files for truck with/without aftermarket valve body?

  TCM tuning can definitely be beneficial for towing heavy loads, and it won't harm a healthy transmission. Properly tuned lockup and shift points will reduce unnecessary wear and slippage to the trans. Make sure to specify if your truck has an aftermarket valve body for optimal performance.

  Do you do TCM tuning on a 08 6.7 with a separate TCM on my 68rfe I have everything built in motor and transmission
