The factory 6.7L Powerstroke crank gear is an interference fit design with no keyway, pin, or welded retention, so under heavy use it can slip and set a P0016 cam and crank correlation code. This CNC machined tool gives you a precise way to reference crankshaft timing when you are dealing with a slipped crank gear or verifying alignment before a repair.

It locates off the crankshaft snout, the balancer dowel pin, and the crank outer diameter, then uses an adjustable pointer to confirm gear position. Built for engine builders, repair shops, and experienced techs doing timing verification, gear re-clocking, or pre-weld alignment checks.
