The S&B 64 Gallon High-Capacity Fuel Tank is a direct replacement for the factory tank on 2011-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 Crew Cab Long Bed trucks with the LML and L5P 6.6L Duramax. It bolts into the stock midship location with brand-new straps and hardware, reuses your OEM sending unit, and gives up only about 2" of ground clearance compared to the factory tank, so you gain range for towing and long hauls without giving up daily drivability.

The tank is designed for the high-flow pumps found at truck stops, with venting that lets the nozzle fill quickly without shutting off early or overflowing.

• The distance to empty (DTE) readout on GM trucks can't be reprogrammed, so it will show about half the range you really have left. This happens with every aftermarket high-capacity tank.
• The fuel gauge works normally. After a fill-up it stays on full until about 4-5 gallons have been used, then starts moving. GM trucks watch for an inoperative gauge, so in some cases the gauge may drop to empty until it starts to move; it returns to normal after restarting the engine.
• The bottom of the S&B tank has more surface area than the OE tank, so there is a larger fuel reserve when the low fuel light comes on.
• Not compatible with the factory skid plate.

Diesel Fuel Tanks

S&B replacement fuel tanks have a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser. If there is a problem with an S&B tank related to defect, materials or workmanship, S&B will replace it. All terms of the S&B Million Mile Limited Warranty also apply to S&B fuel tanks. Damage to an S&B fuel tank resulting from improper installation or use will not be covered by this warranty.
