Tired of truck sag, sway and bottoming out? Say goodbye to these problems with the ALPHA HD PRO from Pacbrake! These air bags/air helper springs (with Jounce Bumpers/Bump Stops) come with inch-thick corrosion-resistant end caps and 20 support wires for ultimate strength and durability.
This kit features a bouncy polyurethane bumper in the bag to avoid damages caused by bottoming out. Perfect for those who want the peace of mind of having an internal bumper and covet the ride comfort of being able to run without air when not towing.
Customers will now have a choice to buy a Pacbrake air suspension kit with or without an-in bag bump stop.
Why Pacbrake added a bump stop to their bags?
Peace of mind. Customers want a bump stop to prevent bottoming out from loss of air bag pressure, an extremely rare event that could damage the air bags or potentially the frame of the truck. Think of it as an "insurance policy" against bottoming out.
An additional benefit is that you can run these air bags at 0 psi when unloaded for superior ride comfort.
Are bump stops necessary?
No! For those that require max travel in their air bags, to raise and lower their rear end to pickup trailers or boats, or for those that take their trucks off roading, air bags without bump stops are recommended. Consider the HP10387 ALPHA HD air bag.
