The factory exhaust manifolds on the 2011-2016 3.5L Ford EcoBoost are a known weak point, with Ford only using 8 of the 11 available stud holes on each cylinder head. This can create uneven clamping pressure, leading to warped manifolds, broken studs, failed gaskets, exhaust leaks, and lost performance. The KC Turbos Upgraded Exhaust Manifolds solve this with a redesigned high-silicon molybdenum cast iron manifold that uses all 11 stud locations for a stronger, more even seal. KC also redesigned and port-matched the runners to increase flow by over 30% compared to stock, helping reduce back pressure and improve turbo efficiency. With thicker mounting flanges, a re-engineered turbo mounting face, a larger machined sealing surface, and included stainless steel studs and spacers, this kit is built as a long-term fix for common EcoBoost manifold failures while supporting better reliability and performance.
