In the event of a CP4 failure, the CP4 will start to shed metal shavings and metal contaminants into the fuel system towards your injectors. Since the LML runs a closed-loop system (meaning the fuel cycles directly back to your fuel pump without being filtered again), it doesn't take long to wreak serious havoc on your injectors. If (or when) this happens to you, it’s not just the pump that needs replacing, it’s your pump, all 8 injectors, fuel regulator, and you will need both fuel rails cleaned or replaced.

Notes 

  • Due to the conversion from a CP4 to a CP3 pump, you will require custom tuning 
  • In order for this to work the emissions must be on and functioning per factory spec, If they are not present this kit will not work. 
  • There is a core charge on this product
    • In order to receive a full core deposit back, you will need to send both your Injectors and Injection Pump.
