Note: Many 2015+ trucks did not include the Factory Tab provision to secure a steering stabilizer. If you have a 2015+ truck without a Factory Tab Provision, you will require the Steering Stabilizer Bracket.

Bilstein 33-196619 5100 Series Steering Dampers/Stabilizers are designed specifically to help you maintain complete command of your 2011-2019 Duramax at all times. A 5100 Series Steering Damper equipped Duramax offers a much more controlled feeling, allowing you to get the true feeling of your truck and what it is capable of. Utilizing our proven design, the steering damper is able to dampen minute movements in the steering and reduce steering vibrations that naturally occur especially in older trucks. These dampers are the least expensive and most effective upgrade to extend the service life of any Duramax out on the road today.

Bilstein Part Number: 33-196619

Kryptonite Part Number: KRS619

Features

  • Offers a much more controlled feeling
  • Able to dampen minute movements in the steering
  • Most effective upgrade
  • Position: Front
  • Drive Type: 4WD

Notes

  • This will not work in conjunction with Cognito / Kryptonite PISK3008.
  • From 2015 up to the current model GM HD Truck, many did not leave the factory with a tab provision to secure a steering stabilizer. KRSS15 is a great option for direct bolt-in steering stabilizer mounting and may be required on 2015+ trucks.
