Much of the jarring ride of the leaf-spring rear can be attributed to the factory vulcanized bushings in the leaf spring pack and shackle. The factory shackle is very strong BUT the design is not conducive to a smooth ride. The Carli shackle is constructed of 1/4″ American cold-rolled steel. The mid-length gusset ensures no deflection while the serviceable bushings offer a far superior ride to the bind of the factory bushings.

  • This System Requires the Torsion Sway Bar and Full Progressive Leaf Springs to properly function.
  • Requires Cutting: Installation requires cutting off factory control arm mounts to install the Long Arm brackets.
  • Fabrication Needed: Requires boring the factory spring buckets to clear the 3.5" shock bodies (Hole saw included).
  • Safety Recommendation: Given this kit's extreme off-road capability, a roll cage is highly recommended.
  • Payload: Rear leaf springs reduce payload; use Long Travel Airbags to restore factory towing specs.
