Factory exhaust manifold hardware is a known weak point on the 5.7L HEMI. The short OEM bolts fatigue and stretch after repeated heat cycles, which leads to exhaust leaks, warped manifolds and broken fasteners. This BD Diesel kit replaces that hardware with longer bolts and spacers that increase toughness and resist failure from thermal cycling. The supplied brackets let the factory heatshield mount independently of the manifold mounting hardware.
