Smeding Diesel S400 Second Gen Piping Kit comes with everything you need to safely, effectively, and properly install a S400 series turbocharger on your Cummins. With the freedom to choose your turbo and exhaust housing size to fit your driving application. The fitment is precise, and the finish is perfectly polished with smooth mandrel bends for superior airflow and enhanced performance.

The 3-piece manifold offers better thermal expansion and contraction to eliminate the possibility of cracking or warping, and paired with the S400 series turbocharger, it effectively provides you with improved exhaust flow, reduced back pressure, quicker turbo spooling, increased horsepower, and fuel economy.

Cast vs. Billet vs SXE-R:

• The cast aluminum compressor wheel in this kit has been around for many years and is a more budget-friendly option
• CNC-machined Billet compressor wheel is much more advanced, utilizing stronger material with a more aggressive design, giving you faster spool-up and more power
• SXE-R wheel is the top-tier compressor option, lightweight and geared toward competition, Its quick-spooling characteristics would make it a sound choice for towing, daily driving, or playing at the drag strip

• 2007.5-2012 trucks use a 4" HX40 downpipe
• Please make sure to select your turbocharger size and exhaust housing size!
• T4 .90 exhaust housings are not recommended for the 6.7L Cummins
• The 1.0 T4 housing is the best option for the 6.7 Cummins
