The ALPHA HD PRO air suspension kit eliminates truck sag, sway, and bottoming out. It includes durable airbags with thick corrosion-resistant end caps and 20 support wires for strength. The built-in polyurethane bumper protects against damage when bottoming out and allows driving without air pressure when not towing. Customers can choose versions with or without the internal bump stop for tailored performance.

  Why Pacbrake added a bump stop to their bags?

  Peace of mind. Customers want a bump stop to prevent bottoming out from loss of air bag pressure, an extremely rare event that could damage the air bags or potentially the frame of the truck. Think of it as an "insurance policy" against bottoming out.

  An additional benefit is that you can run these airbags at 0 psi when unloaded for superior ride comfort.

  Are bump stops necessary?

  No! For those that require max travel in their air bags, to raise and lower their rear end to pickup trailers or boats, or for those that take their trucks off roading, air bags without bump stops are recommended. Consider the HP100182 ALPHA HD air bag.
