2003-2018 Cummins H-Series STD Coated Rod Bearings (PDM-CB-1873HC)

Industrial Injection H-Series coated Clevite rod bearings for the 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins. Originally developed for NASCAR-type racing applications, the H-Series carries a medium level of eccentricity and high crush, paired with a hardened steel back and thin overlay. Standard-size, sold as a complete set.

The coating is the headline feature. A dry-film lubricant layer sits between the bearing surface and the crank journal, which protects against the dry contact you get on cold starts and oil-starvation events. The coating also retains oil rather than repelling it, so the bearing stays wet under load.
