The Stage 1 61/64mm Jetfire Turbocharger is perfect for those wanting to maximize the performance of stock injectors. This specially designed turbo is ideal for heavy towing and provides quicker spool and more power without the lag of larger stage 1.5/pmax/S2 turbos. It works best with moderate injector sizes (stock or 155cc) but can still handle 175cc with slightly less top-end on a heavy race tune.

Instructions

Notes

  • These turbos come with a standard finish unless specifically requested. You can add a polished/custom color cover for an additional fee.
  • Custom Tuning is highly recommended
  • These turbos are based on the 2004-2007 turbo mounting bracket style. In order to run this on a 2003 pedestal, the 3rd mounting bracket on the back of the turbo will have to be cut off.
  • EXHAUST BRAKES: Do exhaust brakes work with KC turbos? KC Turbos has found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close, which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aid in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.  It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.

Warranty

  • 1-Year Unlimited Miles Limited Warranty

Ask a Question
  • hey there I recently blew the bearings on my powermax stage 1 turbo and Im looking to go with this kc stage 1 turbo. other than the whistle is there any other difference between the 13 blade and the 10 blade? power, spool time, drivability differences? thanks!

10-blade is louder (classic "jet engine" whistle). The 13-blade is quieter but still noticeable. The 13-blade will spool slightly faster due to lighter mass. 10-blade holds a bit better at high RPM becuase it flows exhaust slightly more efficiently.
