The Duramax Ordnance 650 CP3 (SP) is a competition-grade pump designed for high-RPM reliability and extreme performance. Starting as a brand-new Bosch CP3, each unit is heavily modified and finished in a durable Cerakote to prevent corrosion. Featuring a massive 1,850 mm3/rev displacement and 650 L/hr flow rate, it supports over 1,200+ HP. This model includes the Gen2 SP3000 Mechanical Supply Pump, an integrated feeder pump that ensures the high-pressure side never starves at engine speeds exceeding 5,000 RPM.

*IMPORTANT* Please read the "Additional Information" section.

Additional Information

Mechanical Supply Requirements: The SP3000 pump moves a massive volume of fuel (3,000 L/hr). To properly manage this volume and maintain the required 140–160 PSI inlet pressure, an S&S Regulated Filter Head is mandatory. Failure to regulate the supply side can result in damaged seals or lines.

  • 2001–2005 (LB7/LLY): This pump uses a "Normally Open" LBZ-style regulator. Custom tuning is mandatory to scale the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) current. Without proper scaling, the engine will experience rail pressure spikes and potential damage.
  • Fuel Volume Scaling: Due to the massive 1,850 mm3 displacement, all model years require tuning adjustments to the "Flow vs. Current" tables to ensure a smooth idle and accurate rail pressure tracking.
  • 2011–2016 (LML): Requires a CP3 Conversion Kit.
  • Due to the integrated Gen2 SP3000 supply pump, this unit is significantly longer than a standard CP3, measuring 171 mm (6.73 inches) from the front mounting cover to the rear of the pump. While this is a direct fit for most factory engine bays, please verify clearance if you are performing a custom engine swap or have a modified firewall/chassis configuration.
  • Regulated Feed is designed for use with an external regulator (such as the S&S Regulated Filter Head) to manage high-volume flow.
