The PPE Billet Stator Torque Converter is the ultimate in power holding capacity, perfect for racers and pullers who regularly brake boost their vehicles. With all the features  of PPE's Billet Triple Clutch Converters, plus a tougher, longer-lasting billet stator for enhanced rear wheel power transfer when the torque converter is unlocked.

For those that sled pull or race, this torque converter, equipped with a billet stator, is a must-have upgrade for all your high-performance needs. Beware of damaging your non-billet stator torque converter by brake boosting at the starting line or sled pulling with the converter unlocked. 

PPE's “Race” series converter should be used in Racing/Pulling applications that require more “Stall” RPM than the standard converter. Increased stall is usually needed in applications where a larger turbo/turbos have been installed and more RPM is required to get the turbo on boost while on the brakes (brake boosting).
