2001-2007 Duramax Transfer Case Pump Upgrade Kit (Pump Rub Fix) for NP261/263 (10001)

This upgrade kit prevents the common pump rub issue in GM NP261/263 transfer cases by replacing the stock magnesium pump cover with a billet T6-6061 aluminum design featuring much larger tangs. It eliminates the cutting pattern that destroys factory cases and serves as essential preventative maintenance before costly damage occurs.

Specialty lock ring pliers required to disassemble rear transfer case housing. Transfer cases hold 2 quarts of fluid. If a hole already exists in the case, installing a new rear housing is recommended for proper repair.
