1999.5-2003 Powerstroke KC300x G3 Stage 3 Turbo (302615)

The KC Turbos 302615 KC300x G3 Stage 3 is a 100% drop-in replacement turbocharger for your 1999.5-2003 7.3L Powerstroke. KC's third-generation redesign pairs a 7x7 SXE style compressor wheel and a thick-shaft SXE style turbine wheel with a reworked 0.91 A/R turbine housing — it spools faster than the old 0.84 A/R and flows more air than the old 1.0 A/R, so the housing choice the previous generation required is gone.

The internals were redesigned around durability: 200% larger thrust and journal bearings, a thicker turbine shaft to carry them, a cast-iron-backed bearing housing to cut deflection at speed, and a steel thrust insert reinforcing the oil slinger and piston seal contact areas.

• This is the late 1999 through 2003 (L99-03) turbocharger. Early 1999 (E99) trucks take a different part — contact us if you are unsure which your truck is.

• These turbos come standard finish unless specifically requested. You can add a polished or custom colour cover for an additional fee.

• No guarantee of fitment with all variations of aftermarket parts like fuel systems, plenums, piping kits, etc.
• EXHAUST BRAKES: Do exhaust brakes work with KC turbos? KC Turbos has found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aid in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended. It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.
• KC turbos are designed to fit directly in 7.3 equipped pick-up trucks. Although KC turbos can drop into 7.3 equipped vans, you will need to modify the turbo intake boot and down-pipe for proper fitment.
