Description

Industrial Injection Race-spec 5.9L 24V Cummins long block for 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500. A fully assembled, sim-tested race engine built on a balanced and blue-printed rotating assembly with Carrillo billet rods, Stage 2 race cam, and a Stage 1 race-ported cylinder head.

The short block runs balanced Cummins crank, Carrillo billet rods with HD bolts, and fly-cut/coated/chamfered pistons with .010 off the top and .100 valve reliefs for high-RPM clearance. The 14mm Gorilla Girdle and ARP main studs lock the bottom end together. Stage 2 race performance camshaft, cam bearings installed in all journals to prevent block wear, coated H-series main and rod bearings, billet freeze plugs, Premium Killer Dowel Pin kit, new oil pump, water pump, oil cooler, oil pickup tube, and Big Iron stamped oil pan.

The cylinder head is a Stage 1 race-ported unit with hand-blended CNC porting on valve bowls and intake/exhaust ports, new diamond-honed valve guides, new stainless steel valves, ARP 625 head studs, 120 lb performance valve springs, a radius-cut fire ring head gasket on a milled/fire-ringed deck, and drilled-and-tapped coolant freeze plugs. The intake shelf is machined off to accept a ZZ Fab side runner.

  • Required: Joe Gibbs Break-In Oil (not included) for the first 300-500 miles after startup. All Industrial Injection short blocks and long blocks must be broken in on Joe Gibbs.
  • Does not include valve cover, rockers, pushrods, additional assembly gaskets, or the ZZ Fab side runner (sold separately, not stocked on DDC).
  • Core deposit applies — includes the engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, camshaft, and cylinder head. Return the cores to recover the deposit.
