Hi, looking for a turbo upgrade for my 1992 12v. I have stage 2 injectors, fuel pin and governor spring mods done. Would this turbo be similar to an HX35 with a 12cm exhaust housing?
Yes, the Smeding EZ Drop-In is very similar to an HX35 with a 12cm² housing, but features a larger, modernized 59mm billet compressor wheel that flows more air. -
Does this turbo come with the exhaust outlet adaptor for the stock 3" exhaust pipe? And is the exhaust inlet flange twin scroll style?
The turbo itself has a larger HX40-style 4" downpipe outlet. To make this work with your stock 3" exhaust pipe, you will need a downpipe adapter.
