This Hamilton Cams Towing Camshaft Kit is perfect for the daily driver but really lives for racing with your 1998.5 - 2018 Dodge Ram 5.9L,6.7L 24V. This Camshaft Kit is ideal for larger single, or compound turbos and includes Tappets, Camshaft, and Valve Springs. The 103lbs Valve Springs assist to prevent valve float in higher horsepower and higher RPM applications. With upgraded pushrods they will not flex like the stock pushrods, this prevents loss in valve lift or retarded timing.

Notes

• This Camshaft is said to be a"drop-in" replacement, it is imperative to check clearances. In 1998.5-2002 Cummins, you require no more than .025" piston protrusion and a minimum of .038" valve face depth with a standard gasket.
• The 2003-2018 Cummins engines will require .018" piston protrusion and a minimum of .038" valve face depth with a standard gasket. You can still run an oversize head gasket or cut valve reliefs if you do not meet the requirements for piston-to-valve clearance.
