This is the largest drop-in cam great for hot rod street trucks and moderate competition from Idle to 4500 RPM. This steel camshaft offers more power in the lower RPM range for your 1989-2018 Dodge Ram 5.9L/6.7L Cummins. This is a significant upgrade to increase efficiency and it is compatible with any size turbo. If you are normally driving at high altitudes, or if you are spending a lot of time driving at lower RPMs, this camshaft will greatly improve drivability.
Note:
- 1989-1998 Cummins 5.9L 12V will require no more than .025" piston protrusion and at least .055" valve face depth with a standard head gasket.
- In 1998.5-2002 5.9L Cummins applications, you will require no more than .025" piston protrusion and a minimum of .038" valve face depth with a standard gasket.
- 2003-2018 5.9L/6.7L Cummins engines will require .018" piston protrusion and a minimum of .038" valve face depth with a standard gasket. You can still run an oversize head gasket or cut valve reliefs if you do not meet the requirements for the piston to valve clearance.
