More fluid is always better in an automatic. A larger volume takes longer to heat up, so transmission temperatures stay more stable and the trans lives longer. PPE's Heavy-Duty Deep Transmission Pan adds 4 quarts of capacity and is cast from premium A356.0-T6 heat-treated aluminum alloy for strong, consistent heat dissipation. Tall 3/4 inch external fins pull heat out of the fluid, while 1/2 inch internal baffles improve heat absorption and cut down on fluid sloshing under hard driving.

A 304 stainless steel drain plug with a built-in high-temperature neodymium magnet and Viton O-ring captures ferrous debris before it reaches the transmission internals. The pan works with your OEM filter and includes a filter spacer block sealed with a Viton O-ring, plus 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch NPT ports with pre-installed plugs for adding temperature sensors. A flat composite gasket is included.
