- 1989-1993 (VE Pump): VE Rotary injection pumps must have an upgraded fuel pin (DDP PIN) installed at a bare minimum to see significant gains from these injectors.

1994-1998 (P-Pump):
- Stage 2: Not recommended for frequent towing on a stock turbocharger.
- Stage 3: Upgraded P-Pump and Turbo(s) are required; the largest set recommended for frequent street use.
- Stage 4: Intended for off-road use only. Heavily modified P-Pump (13mm) and specialized turbo setups are mandatory.
- Timing: Please refer to the specific Stage requirements for recommended timing (ranging from 15° to 28° depending on application and use).
- Emissions: Not for sale or use in California.
