Notes
Notes
- NON-INTERCOOLED ENGINE FITMENT NOTE: Non-Intercooled engines come from the factory with a 9mm diameter injector nozzle bore in the cylinder head. All Dynomite Diesel injectors for this application come with a 7mm diameter injector nozzle along with a standard 1.5mm thick copper washer. Many manufacturers supply a copper sleeve to adapt the 7mm-diameter injector nozzle to the 9mm-diameter bore in the Non-Intercooled cylinder head, but this is not needed. At Dynomite, they have been running the standard copper washer with a Non-Intercooled cylinder head for over 20 years now with zero issues. They actually prefer the standard 1.5mm copper washer to the adapter sleeve, as it is 0.5mm thinner than the copper sleeve adapter and physically moves the nozzle tip closer to the piston, resulting in a cleaner burn, improved fuel economy, and power output. If you still want to run the copper sleeve adapter, you can, but Dynomite does not recommend it.
