1988-1994 Powerstroke Heavy Duty Head Stud Kit (HSK73IDI)

Ah yes, old reliable all mechanical non-turbo IDI engines! Just because it can't hook and book like a new Powerstroke, it's still a durable workhorse worthy of some love. Like upgrading to studs! Studs have a higher clamping capacity which gives them superior strength to withstand more stress. And being longer, this provides more thread engagement which gives you a more accurate torque reading.

• Higher strength and will not stretch like factory bolts
• Prevent damage to head gaskets 
• Can withstand high-stress
• Longer than head bolts, means more thread engagement
  
• Thread into the engine block, install your head over the studs, the nuts apply clamping force VS bolts are threaded through the cylinder head into the block, applying clamping force
  

• These will not fit turbo Powerstroke engines, only IDI 7.3L
