Will this quiet the hiss that my duramax makes at idle? I have the flo pro 4” straight pipe and full delete.
Yes! It won't eliminate all turbo noise, but it will make the exhaust note noticeably deeper and quieter at idle and cruise—especially compared to a straight pipe.

Does this muffler have packing in the chamber? Or is it hollow beyond the louvers that stick up on the interior? Will it remain quiet forever, or will it pack with (trapped) soot over time, eventually turning it into a straight pipe?
This Quiet Tone Muffler features a spiral louvered core design and does not contain traditional packing material. Sound performance remains consistent over time, unaffected by packing burnout. Soot buildup may reduce muffling efficiency.
