The BD Diesel Iron Horn Turbo Kit in your 2007.5-2018 6.7L Dodge Cummins is an extremely viable and dependable non-VGT setup. The focus of the Iron Horn Turbo is increased power, spool, and reliability. The Iron Horn was brought to market to replace the notoriously problematic Cummins turbo with a BorgWarner S300 SX-E. The S300 is designed for pure performance with a high-flow housing, 360-degree thrust bearings, and FMW Forged Milled wheels that are lighter, stronger, and can handle more abuse.
The BD Diesel Iron Horn kit includes everything you need to install it into your Cummins. No additional piping kits are required for installation.

Turbo failed after 3 months and 3,200 kms. BD will not give any warranty. STAY AWAY
Ordered through the wholesale manager and experienced a shipping delay, which was promptly corrected as the product was then shipped overnight. Began the install and ran into a casting issue with the oil feed port, again reached out to the wholesale manager. Thankfully they were able to get it corrected and I was able to have a replacement turbo shipped out right away. Very impressed with the customer service I received.
Start off with costumer service was awesome by pointing me in the right direction and questions I had. It's a good kit. Fast shipping, Instructions are great. The exhaust was a little harder had to modify the hanger that holds exhaust at the transmission other than that easy kit to install. I thought there would be more turbo lag than what there is I would say it's about the same off the start I think it pulls harder when you get it spooled up. With the tune that's on the truck and the BD Diesel turbo kit I think they work good together Thanks Jason
This turbo kit is easy to install and comes with everything you need to swap out that factory vgt turbo. I am very happy with the power and how fast it builds boost. I find the egt's to be lower as well.
Oil drain is the hardest part, you may also have to clock the turbo if you have aftermarket suspension, i have a carli lift and it was tight against the shock tower at factory position. Also says will work with oem intake but if you get the banks boost tubes it will not. Besides that as long as you have the right extension/swivel set up it's a pretty easy install.
Don’t have a photo or video but the turbo has excessive play for only having 10,000km on it. I don’t see it lasting much longer. BD doesn’t seem to care. I did all of the proper pre oiling and what not. Got it tuned by CCS and still didn’t last
Easy installation and with the add of this and custom tune incredible hp gains.
Way better than the stock turbo and sounds great.
Advise ordering a fleece oil drain line with this kit, the one supplied is horrible to get lined up properly. Also the kit does not come with the manifold mounting hardware to the cylinder head, that’s an extra add on when it should be included, it’s always proper procedure to install with new bolts and not re-use.
I have one installed on my truck that was put on by previous owner, how do I know what wheel size it is?
Great product! Install was easy and went without issues. I had to clock the turbo to accommodate my pusher charge pipes, other than that everything was and is great! Excellent throttle response/boost and sounds amazing!
Fit and finish was fantastic, S363 setup.
Everything is straight forward, did a few turbo installs but this one was just as straight forward full of and install kit as they come, highly recommended
Factory VGT was failing in my 2011 Ram 2500. Heard good things about the Iron horn kits from bd. Ordered the 363/80/.91 kit since I have no plans on adding larger injectors or any more fueling than what my tuner supplies. Truck is night and day more enjoyable to drive than stock. More responsiveness, way more power through the entire power band (stock turbo is good on power under 2300 rpms, then it feels like it falls on its face, this turbo pulls right to red line). Truck is quite a bit louder, but it sounds a lot better. More like a true cummins should. On Dirty Diesels end, fast shipping, great price. Cant complain. All in all, very happy with this purchase.
