When building a high-horsepower truck, it's always ideal to reinforce & strengthen your valvetrain. Valve springs, retainers, push rods, rocker arms, & rocker trunnions, just to name the basics; these parts are often overlooked when building a high HP motor.

There is no denying your valve springs/ retainers are the hardest working part of your valvetrain, they push the rocker arm, pushrod, & lifter back down into the cam lobe, & also close the valve.
