1989-2002 Cummins Big Iron Oil Pan (BI591224VOP)

Heavy-duty cast iron Big Iron oil pan for 1989-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks running the 5.9L Cummins (both 12V and 24V eras). Replaces the OE stamped steel pan with a thicker, more rigid cast pan that won't dent on trail rocks or warp around an installed girdle.

Four drain holes route oil around the rear main stud nut so the pan drains fully — no oil trapped at the back. Reinforced sealing lip is thicker than OE, which requires longer bolts (sold separately as BI591224VOPB) to reach the block.

• Requires extended oil pan bolts (BI591224VOPB) — the thicker sealing lip means OE-length bolts can't reach the block.
• If installing on a 1989-1993 1st gen truck, a 1994-2002 oil pickup tube is required — the early pickup tube doesn't reach the bottom of the deeper Big Iron pan.
• For builds with a Gorilla Girdle installed, the Stamped variant (BI591224VOPMS) has a relief pressed in for the girdle bar — that's the better match if you're running a girdle.
