1981-1987 GM Square Body Duramax Swap Intercooler & Radiator Kit (WCF100201)

Radiator and intercooler package for putting a 6.6L Duramax into a 1981-1987 GM 3/4-ton or 1-ton square body truck. Wehrli developed it on their own Duramax-swapped square body shop truck, so it is a proven way to mount cooling that keeps up with the engine: a modified Griffin dual-row aluminum radiator with twin 16" electric fans and a customized Vibrant intercooler, plus laser-cut steel core support brackets to hang it all.

The Griffin radiator is 28" x 19" dual row with an aluminum shroud and twin 16" fans moving 2,148 CFM total, with the inlet and outlet modified to Duramax spec. The Vibrant intercooler is 3.5" thick, 12" x 25" core, with 3" bead-rolled inlet and outlet. Upper and lower core support brackets are laser cut and CNC bent steel. Final install of the lower bracket requires welding.
