Most delete kits just put a U-hose where the EGR cooler was, which removes the cooler's flow resistance entirely. Since that same coolant line feeds the turbo, coolant bypasses the more restrictive turbo coolant inlet and goes straight to the coolant outflow loop. Our coolant block, machined in house from 6061 aluminum, has a tuned flow path that matches the original resistance of the EGR cooler, so your turbo keeps the coolant flow it was designed for. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt is critical to keep your turbo cool, especially on the LM2 truck where the turbo is the bottle neck for performance.
