Ours is 6061-aluminum, TIG welded, and built to handle the pressure a tuned truck puts through it. It connects to the factory intercooler with a quick-disconnect coupler we designed in-house, sealed with two O-rings where GM used one, so it stays locked in and doesn't blow off.
