Fits: 2011-2019 GM LML & L5P w/ 6.6L Duramax
The Deviant Race Parts (DRP 75450) EPC Fooler will replace the EPC Solenoid in the valve body and works as a fooler plug in the bore. The OE solenoid will snap into the fooler and remain plugged into the OE wiring harness. From factory, the LML & L5P Allison transmission runs at 80PSI of line pressure, on shifts the solenoid will spike from 80psi to 230psi (and back down) but this is not enough to hold any additional horsepower.
The DRP EPC Fooler will force the transmission to run a static constant pressure of 230PSI and will increase to 280PSI off idle, this eliminates the pressure drops on shifts and allows significantly more clamping force on the clutch packs allowing you to hold more power and improving the shift quality and longevity of your Allison Transmission.
